I’ve been relying on my Arturia BeatStep Pro for all of my sequencing needs, but lately, I’ve been craving a change. For quite a while now, I’ve been exploring options for a sequencer to integrate into my Eurorack setup, but I could never quite settle on the right one. I wasn’t sure if I wanted something simple, a tracker, or a more feature-rich option with a song mode. There are just so many sequencers out there and it’s been really overwhelming trying to choose.
Then, while watching some videos on YouTube, I stumbled across a review by Red Means Recording’s video on the Squarp Hermod+ and it totally caught my attention.
This thing looks incredible! It looks insanely powerful, with 8 CV/Gate sequencers plus 8 simultaneous MIDI sequences. That means I’ll be able to send sequences to my Eurorack setup and to external gear like my synths and the SP-404 MKII, all at once. The creative possibilities are endless.
I’m seriously excited to pick this up next month! It looks like it’ll be a game-changer for my workflow!
