Here are my 3 favourite FX modules in my case!
Q-Bit Nautilus!
I love the Q-Bit Nautilus for its incredible range of delay options. It can do everything from a classic, clean delay to wild, experimental multi-tap patterns with intense, swirling feedback. Whether I’m going for something subtle to add depth or creating chaotic, evolving textures that transform the whole patch, the Nautilus is amazing for this. It’s one of those modules that always inspires me every time I use it! I love using the nautilus’s shimmer delay and making pads with it!
Poly Effects Hector!
The Poly Effects Hector is amazing! It is like having a whole modular rack inside your rack. From lush reverbs and delays to complex modulation, granular effects, and even full synth voices, it can do so much. I love the option to build and tweak custom patches right on the module, opening up endless creative possibilities. Whether I’m making slowly moving textures with complex modulation or just using it as a fx send the Hector is amazing and so easy to use!
Instruo Arbhar!
Save my favourite module until last!
I’m always blown away by the Arbhar! It’s an absolute dream for granular synthesis. From delicate, shimmering textures to chaotic, glitchy soundscapes, it opens up a whole world of sonic possibilities. What I love most is how performative it feels, scrubbing through grains in real time or layering live input creates an incredibly dynamic experience. Whether I’m capturing field recordings, using the built in mic for textures or modular tones, the Arbhar transforms every sounds into rich, evolving atmospheres. It is always surprising me with the sounds that come out of it! Just an amazing module!
