It’s That Time Again!
Once a month, something truly special happens—The Gallimaufry Collective comes together for a live, improvised ambient jam session, performed entirely with hardware synths and modular gear, and streamed online in real time. It’s a celebration of texture, tone, and the art of spontaneous collaboration.
We use a powerful tool called Jamtaba, which allows us to connect from different locations and stay perfectly in sync. No latency issues, no awkward delays—just a seamless musical experience unfolding live across the web. Whether you’re into lush soundscapes, evolving drones, or delicate melodic fragments, these sessions offer a rich tapestry of ambient expression.
Each jam typically features around five members of the collective, each bringing their own unique setup of hardware and modular synths. The variety of sounds and creative approaches ensures that every session has its own mood and atmosphere. No scripts, no pre-planning—just pure, in-the-moment creativity.
